Indian cuisine represents an exciting world of delicious diversity and flavor that all of humanity should experience. However, some of the stars and staples of Indian meals are quite difficult to make, especially by hand alone. This also applies to the nations around India with similarities in their eating habits such as Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal. Can the wonders of combined modern and ancient technologies designed and built for the South Asian diaspora around the world help make the load a little easier for weary housewives, single dads, college students, or restaurant chefs? I’m not sure as I’ve never to date had one of these gadgets in my own kitchen despite substantial Indian cooking since college.

I have, on the other hand, gotten pleasure and time-saving convenience from “Western” electric gadgets such as sandwich makers, dishwashers, slow cookers, bbq grills, coffee makers, spice grinders, blenders, and air fryers in my kitchen to help hack certain food prep.

Want to try out some new Indian kitchen gadgets like I do? Here is a good review video by some Brits (credit to the UK, for those blokes do know a thing or two about food from their centuries-long subcontinental colonies) that could be a starting point to get our feet wet in a different kind of “Indian tech” scene!
